The Niagara lofts are named after the Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge, which spans the St. Lawrence River below Niagara Falls. It was designed a built by John A. Roebling, completed in 1855, using wire-rope manufactured in Trenton. It is the bridge that made Roebling world-famous, and set the stage for later success.
